About Monica
Dr. Monica Gallego Rude is a college counselor who also dabbles in writing things about college admissions.
She is the author of the chapter “International Students” in the Fundamentals of College Admission Counseling (Sixth Edition). She spends a lot of time thinking about admissions and has been quoted in publications like The Atlantic.
Monica lives in Boston with her husband and their two children.
